Agenda Stress Management and Compassion Fatigue Course for 06-18-15, Arlington.doc

Attention Animal Control and Welfare Staff,

The Texas Animal Control Training Institute of Certification & Licensing (TACTICAL) is excited to be offering a Compassion Fatigue & Stress Management training course on June 18, 2015 at Arlington Animal Services from 6:00PM - 9:00PM.

Compassion Fatigue and Stress Management are part of the job of animal welfare; but they can also be professionally and personally devastating if you don't know the signs, symptoms and what can be done to protect yourself, your loved ones and the animals in our care.  Please take the first or next step in protecting your long-term mental health in a very mentally draining career and get back on track to what brought you into this field and recognizing what a rewarding field animal welfare is as well.

The course has been approved by the Texas Department of State Health Services.  The course is $25.00/person and TACTICAL accepts Cash, Credit Cards or Checks. ($1.00 convenience charge on credit card transactions.)  Attendees will earn 3CE hours toward their state mandated 30 hours of continuing education credit hours every 3-years.  To register please visit www.Pet-Tactical.org and click on the Courses tab and fill out the course registration form to register.  The course agenda with times and locations is attached to this email. If you are interested in attending please register at www.Pet-Tactical.org or email questions to me at KMenefee@msn.com to reserve a spot in the class.  Hurry space is limited and will not last long....... 30 Vacant Seats Remain!3 CE Hours!!! Compassion Fatigue and Stress Management is something we all have and have to learn to work with in order to have a long, successful career in animal welfare.  Don't let this potential career ruining issue get you before you recognize the effects and what you can do to counteract them.  Let me know if you have any questions and I look forward to seeing you in Arlington. Thanks,
Keane Menefee
