BASIC ACO COURSE ANNOUNCEMENT

DSHS Health Service Region 2/3 | Zoonosis Control

 

Basic Animal Control Officer Training Course

Date: November 18-19, 2015

Location: Harberger Hill Community Center

701 Narrow Street

Weatherford, TX 76086

 

This two-day DSHS Basic Animal Control Officer Training Course will consist of 12 hours of lecture, video and speaker

presentations that will assist attendees in their comprehension of the study material for the state exam which is included with the two day

Basic ACO Course on the second day.

The cost to register for the Basic Course is $75.00 per person.

 

Do not send payment with your application.

 

To register, e-mail or fax the attached completed DSHS ACO COURSEapplication form to our office. The deadline to register is Tuesday, October 6,

2015. Acceptance packets should be sent to you within a week of the date we receive your completed application form.

 

You are not registered for the course until you receive the acceptance packet.

 

If you do not receive the acceptance packet within a week of sending in your application, please call Naomi Ayala at (817) 264-4922

or e-mail her at naomi.ayala@dshs.state.tx.us to verify she has received your application.

 

Basic Animal Control Officer Test for person’s who have successfully completed a Basic Animal Control Officer Training Course

taught by a DSHS approved sponsor, will be held at the same location on the afternoon of November 19, 2015.

A separate DSHS TEST ONLY APPLICATION is provided for these attendees to complete and return to us to register for the Basic Test only.

 

For the Basic Test only attendees please remember you are required tobring your original sponsors letter, and a photo ID with you the day

of the test in order to be able to take the test, no exceptions.
